About Me

Stephanie Parsons MS, LPC, CFRC, EMDR

My name is Stephanie Parsons. I have been a clinician since 2012. Before I am anything else (i.e. counselor) I am a human being, an imperfect soul, like everyone else. I have had and continue to have experiences that impact me and help shape who I am being every day.

I LOVE people! We are born to connect! I believe a shortcoming of humanity is self-preservation and inauthenticity (guilty!) which is often a stumbling block to us genuinely knowing ourselves and others.

I am “DEDICATED TO OUR STRUGGLE AND THE HIDDEN SALVATION WITHIN.”

It is an honor and privilege to do the work that I do.

Who I am committed to being is a bold cause in the matter to alleviate human suffering through the creation of possibilities and authentic connections with courageous, compassionate, and empowering conversations. I believe my style would best be described as ruthless compassion. Yes, we all want to “feel” better. However, if we simply wait on our feelings, we will be waiting forever.

All we have is NOW. One of my favorite quotes by Jim Rohn is “If you want change…YOU have to change.”

Look, life is full of bullshit, assholes, and hard stuff. No shortage! No control! Guaranteed!
However, you do have 100% control of where you choose to spend your energy and how you respond.

Viktor Frankl said “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

Let’s get to work. EVERYTHING MATTERS!
